Setting Up Your Account
Without Mobile Onboarding App
Are you ready to set up your worldVIEW account but don’t have access to our onboarding mobile app? No
problem! This guide will help you get everything setup in worldVIEW, our online maps platform.
Go to www.worldview.cartasite.com to log in!
User Name: your company email
Password: set up via email link sent to you
Cant find your password email? Click “Forgot
Your Password” on the worldVIEW login
screen.
The purchasing contact for your company will be added to your worldVIEW account. An email will be sent to
create a password and get logged in for the first time.
After logging in, navigate to the Administrator side
of worldVIEW by following these steps:
1.Click the dropdown by your email in the top right
corner of the dashboard.
2.Select “Administrator” and a new page will open.
Note: Only someone with administrator rights
will be able to access the Administrator page.
Follow these steps to create new User accounts:
1. Navigate to the “Users” tab.
2. Click “New User”.
3. Complete user information.
4. Check the “Send Email” box so your new user
will receive an email to create their password.
5. Select “Insert” to add new user.
User Profile Capabilities
Admin (Program Administrator) ● Access to worldVIEW Dashboard and
Administrator website
● Able to edit everything in worldVIEW
Dashboard and Administrator
User (Manager/Supervisor/Field Ops) ● Access to view worldview Dashboard in the
group they are assigned to and that groups
sub-groups
● Able to use all features of worldVIEW
Dashboard including: notifications, geofences
& reports/analytics
Personal User (Driver/Field Tech) ● Access to worldVIEW Dashboard
● Zero editing abilities
● Able to see Map View and Analytics for only
their own record- they cannot see their peers
or supervisors
WorldVIEW Administrator allows an unlimited number of sub-groups, branch or children groups. Each group has its
own set of Users, Devices, Vehicles, Drivers and Assets.
To edit or add groups to your tree
hierarchy, follow these steps:
1. Right click on the group or sub-
group.
2. Select “Edit” or “Add New”.
3. Enter group name and add
details.
4. Select “Save”.
Follow these steps to add a new driver:
1. Navigate to Drivers tab.
2. Select “New Driver”.
3. Complete driver details.
4. Enable driver scorecard by selecting the
box “Email Driver Scorecard.”
Follow these steps to add a new vehicle:
1. Using the universal search bar, search for vehicle in
system to ensure you do not duplicate vehicles.
2. Navigate to Vehicles tab.
3. Select “New Vehicle”.
4. Complete vehicle details (keeping in mind vehicle
name should be unique within your company) and
select “Insert”.
Best Practice: Keep vehicle names consistent. You can
use vehicle lease numbers or license plates, etc. Avoid
naming vehicles with driver names, it will make more work
to update if vehicles change.
Follow these steps to link elements:
1. Navigate to the “Devices” tab.
2. Select “Link” next to the device number you would like to
connect with its vehicle and driver.
Note: You can find the device number located on the bar
code of your device under IMEI.
3. Choose the appropriate driver from the dropdown menu.
4. Choose the appropriate vehicle from the dropdown menu.
5. Confirm your “Current Vehicle Devices” is the IMEI
number you’ve selected to link to driver and vehicle.
6. Click “Save” to link your elements.
When you finish adding your drivers and vehicles, you are ready to link everything together. Make sure
your devices are in the same group as the vehicle and driver you wish to link to.
To enable your group and/or multi-group scorecards follow
these steps:
1. Right click on your company name in the left side tree
panel.
2. Select “Edit”.
3. Select the third, green, scorecard icon.
4. Check the boxes to “Enable Group Scorecard” and
“Enable Multigroup Scorecard”.
5. Click “+” to add your email or others to receive these
group scorecards for a high-level overview of all your
drivers driving scores from the previous week.
Group and Multi-Group scorecards allow your supervisors, safety managers, owners or anyone else at the
corporate level keep a pulse on your fleet safety scores.
Now that your devices are linked, you can view your drivers location, trips and
reporting from your worldVIEW Dashboard!
