Using Terial Magic to stabilize our fabric, we will cut and roll the petals and affix them to a canvas board. Add some leaves and even a little crystals for bling, and VOILA! What a beautiful piece-AND, NO SEWING!

We will use the rolled hem stitch on our sergers, and you can even use a decorative thread in the loopers for a different and lovely look. Make these cute napkins on your serger to use year after year! Fashioned from two circles, they are reversible and are easily folded into tree shapes for a colorful table!

So very different and unique, this wonderful project will “spice” up the conversation at your table. Use different color ranges and values from dark to light-eight fabrics in all.
Back by demand with an evening and Saturday class! This is a fun, and seriously creative collage quilting class - that requires no sewing until it is quilted! In the first class we will be learning about the basic of the collage process, and begin choosing and preparing our fabrics for the collage application. In part two we’ll be working on the placement of our background and motifs and fusing them in place. You will not need to bring your sewing machine for either class.

Anette begins with how to pick fabric, teaches you how to cut the fabric using a rotary ruler, cutter, and mat, and continues from there. Ruth is a wonderful instructor and makes learning fun and easy. A finished project is guaranteed.
SCHOOL HOUSEThursday, September 6 1-4pm OR 5-8pmTuition: $5Come during the day or choose night classes, but do join us for this fun annual event. Small groups of 4 will “change classes” each half hour when the bell rings to introduce you to 6 new projects, tools or techniques to make your sewing and quilting more efficient and enjoyable. We are limited to 24 in each session, and some guilds bring their members for this event, so sign up early.
20TH ANNIVERSARY EVENTAugust 16-18Can you believe that we celebrated our grand opening here in Uniontown in August of 1998? Where have the years gone? We will be celebrating with some special sales, etc. but the one thing that is really special is a trunk show on Friday evening with Michele Umlauf from Sulky Thread Company and two classes on Saturday, August 18. The details of exact times and pricing is still not finalized, but the events themselves are, and I wanted you to be able to put them on your calendar.
