Very beginning of the serial enwraps the jest of Lord Shree
Vishnu taking incarnation of Lord Nilamadhaba somewhere in aforest and follows the form of Lard Jagannath. The story
revolves around Sabara King Viswabasu who for the first time
gets advantage of having a glimpse the Lord in an abandoned
cave and is being persuaded by the lord to worship him. Later
the story takes a miraculous turn when Lord Nilamdhabavanishes from the cave after Vidyapati, a courtier of King
Indradyumna plays tricks with the Sabar King to get the secret
address of Lord Nilamadhaba. Later King Indradyumna gets
ordered by lord Nilamadhaba to build a temple for him near the
sea where he reappears with the incarnation of Lord Jagannathand the temple built near the sea that day is popularly known as
Badadeula at Puri and Lord Jagannth is found settled there
with elder brother Balabhadra and younger sister Subhadra.

heavenly conflict between lord Jagannath and Goddess
Mahalaxmi in which the two Lords Jagannath &
Balabhadra suffer for a morsel of food for long 12 years for
driving Mahalaxmi out of the Puri temple. The story
showcases how even Gods suffer from scarcity for obeyingracial discrimination and ultimately the story reaches the
climax with Mahalaxmi returning to Shree Mandir with
the condition of everyone, starting from untouchables to
Brahmins, being prioritized equally in the temple peripheryand Mahalaxmi never being provoked again from visiting
any of her devotee. That's why Puri is above all cast, creed,
colour and religion.

the tenure of seventh century when JagatguruSahankaracharya stepped in Odisha (Utkal) to assist the
then king Jajati Keshari to resettle the temple of Lord
Jagannath. As per ethics, Lord Jagannth had undergone
the state of Patali for hundred and forty four years and
remained unworshipped during the period, to escape the
uncertain attack of Raktabahu, a pirate and looter who
wanted to attack the lord. Sankaracharya resettled the
temple with the help of Jajati and since that time
Shreekhetra was counted as one amongst the four populardhams of India. His famous line "Jagannath Swamy
Nayana PathaGami Bhaba Tume" is still found murmured
in the mouths of Lord Jagannath devotees.

renowned poet Jaydev, one of the greatest devotees of LordJagannath and the depicter of the famous poetic work
GITA GOVINDAM which still enlightens the Jagannath
culture in both India and abroad. This segment picturizes
how Jayadev, a poor man from Kendubilwa comes to Puri
to satisfy his ardent desire of becoming a poet and how
finally he comes in contact with Padmavati whom he gets
married later. Everything takes place with the directions of
Lord Jagannth. Also the story encrypts the command of
lord Jagannath following which Jaydev depicts the greatGITA GOVINDAM, the great poetic work which narrated
the love and romance of Srikrishna and Sriradha in
Brindaban.

showcases the devotional service of a great King who
sacrifices his life for the sake of the Lord. The King is
Purusottama Deva and his pious service is to sweep the
chariots of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi
Subhadra during the car festival. While the service isconsidered to be one of the greatest rituals of the Hindu
religion, but the King of Kanchi did mistook it to be the
service of a Chandal and denied to give the hands of his
daughter Padmavati in marriage to the King of Kanchi.The story showcases how Lord Jagannath himself comes to
the battlefield to safeguard the prestige of his beloved king.
