COZUMEL

Mimicking the look of glazed ceramic tile, this geometric design is composed of four-by-four inch squares joined with metallic grout. This wallpaper has a realistic appearance of texture that begs to be touched. With five handsome hues including copper, silver, or gold, this rather masculine pattern is an ideal consort to pretty Bella.

CYPRESS GARDEN MURAL

This elegant hand printed mural is an adaptation of an exquisite nineteenth century embroidered silk in the York Wallcoverings archives. It has been designed as a single wall scenic or can be combined with additional murals to form a lovely room panoramic. The Asian inspired vista beautifully portrays an avian paradise where hummingbirds and swallows flit among bamboo trees and flowers, while cranes and sandpipers wade in the shallow waters. There are three selections including a silver sheen with white, browns and soft green and custom colors are available as well.

BELLA

Vivacious Bella, a flirtatious floral, has the power to bring a touch of whimsy to any room. A modern take on Asian art, stylized cherry trees bear abundant two inch blossoms and a smattering of unfurled leaves as they climb from floor to ceiling, wall to wall. A metallic gleam is incorporated into each of the five color ways including the reddest red with white, tan, green and bright gold or radiant silvered taupe with white, grey, green, and purple. Mix or match with Cozumel or Symphony Silk to complete the look.

WHITAKER

A hazy pattern of tone-on-tone color, this wallpaper has the pleasing look of antiquity but, like a chameleon, has the ability to blend into its surroundings. The warmth of the distressed and time-worn appearance is equally at home in traditional settings or contemporary rooms. There are but two selections; variations on champagne beige or permutations of rich gold. Each works well with Malabar.

MIRROR MIRROR

Mirror, mirror on the wall; among the fairest of them all, you’ll discover this glowing architectural pattern. Two and a half inch rectangles are stacked and staggered vertically so the juxtaposition of the shapes creates a neat and clean texture with a modern vibe. This wallpaper is available in three metallic sheens: molten gold, champagne fizz or silver patina and would be a suitable partner to Malabar.

MALABAR

A post-modern version of classic ogee design, Malabar is stunning wallpaper. In the center of each vertical twenty-four inch onion shape is a sizeable oval with broken lines radiating from a central point. There are five palettes, each with a touch of luminosity, including cocoa, soft taupe and silver, or shades of aquamarine with bright gold. Potential partners include Mirror Mirror or Whitaker.

AUBREY

Sublime in its simplicity. Sumptuous in its execution. Scintillating in its beauty. This overall pattern hints at a botanical origin with a stylized repeating leaf that was redesigned from an Art Deco period woven fabric in the York Wallcovering archives. Nearly two feet in height, the serpentine lines are embellished with glittering sand or reflective glass beads on a background with the delicate texture of handmade paper. Among the five possibilities are dark grey with silvery natural sand or creamy mascarpone with golden glass beads. Use with made-to-match Oasis in compatible colors.

TRUNK SHOW

A cascade of black and silver washes down the wall like a metallic waterfall. The single, and singular, available color combination has an element of drama, and the design is striking in a contemporary setting. Made of textured vinyl for practicality, use this pattern alone or with Aubrey in similar coloration.

METRO RETRO

This intriguing grid-like pattern has a modern motif with retrospective appeal. The fascinating design is achieved with the textural impression of rounded rectangles and broken stripes which form the vertical lines. Small in scale, a mere two inches, and available in three two-tone colors with pearlescent finish, this is an exceptional wallcovering for a contemporary or post-modern setting. Select from Prussian blue, mellow gold, or soft silver.

LUSTRE

Aptly named Lustre, this open free-form wallpaper casts a lovely glow. The indistinct pattern is a combination of mottled color and irregular broken lines calculated to work in traditional or modern décor. There are five choices available; among them is molten silver with cream and beige or iridescent gold rush. Pair with Venetia or Malabar for a striking duo.

VENETIA

The stunning Palazzo Ducale in Venice is beautifully located between the sea and the Basilica di San Marco. This masterpiece of Venetian architecture could have been an inspiration for this exquisite design. A softly gleaming background bears the patina of passing time, while the elaborate raised design and contrasting inked shadows create a trompe l’oeil illusion of deep dimension. One must concede this wallpaper is truly beyond compare. There are five enthralling palettes; among them is antique mirrored silver with a cream and taupe pattern. Use with Lustre in a compatible color.

CASPANO

With a whisper of color and a hint of mineral gleam, this quiet wallpaper exudes serenity and calm. Nearly a solid, with the faintest of contrasting fiber, one would take it for handcrafted paper. In just one shade; soft silver and smoky grey that partners well with Aubrey or Sheffield.

CATALINA

This wallpaper will leave you breathless in appreciation of its beauty and scale! Amazonian leaves, twenty inches tall, are portrayed in lacy silhouette. Bright inks shine like precious metals against a faux woven background like a fine, nearly gossamer fabric. This audacious design, sumptuous in a contemporary or post-modern setting, is available in five striking interpretations such as platinum on deep sea blue or polished silver on graphite grey.

ODYSSEY

With the charming look of ages past, this wallpaper resembles plaster, applied with a notched trowel, which has mellowed over time. While the surface is actually quite smooth it appears to be textured, and the background shimmers creating a layered look. The half dozen colors include a rich deep teal or a pale sea foam green. Match with Luray, a beautiful damask in coordinated hues.

DRESS CODE

Soft and understated, upon closer examination you’ll see a vertical design that resembles a sampler of stitches creating a diminutive texture. The light reflecting finish lends a sense of gentle warmth and harmony. There are two color ways; a mélange of silvery oyster grey with taupe or subtle variations in gold. Consider using in conjunction with a bolder design.

LURAY

Large and elaborate, this two foot tall framed damask was restyled from a surface printed French design, circa 1860, found in the York Wallcoverings archives. While it brings traditional decor to mind, the weathered appearance, with a modicum of sheen, is also striking in contemporary, modern, or eclectic rooms. The field is mottled and has vertical lines; the medallions and frames contrast with the background and bear the marks of time. Select from six variations; among them rich teal with taupe or antique white on iridescent platinum. Partner with Odyssey in matching hues.

CRIMP MY STYLE

This contemporary wallpaper is a miniature matrix of columns and rows separated by the occasional vertical furrow. The luminous finish lends a pearlescent or a metallic glow accentuating the geometric texture. The four relatively neutral, long lived and easy care vinyl selections work wonderfully well with a myriad of patterns.

SHEFFIELD

Like a garden of earthly delights, this damask features floral medallions, seven inches high, set in frames with the flowing lines of Moroccan ironwork. The field is a solid color and the pattern is ornamented with sparkling glitter. While the overall pattern is quite large, it is open and vivacious. The five potential colors include glimmering silver on plum or phosphorescent sky blue on white. Mix and match with Symphony Silk or Chalfonte.

WHIRL ‘N TWIRL

Slender, elongated bands of color diminish at each end and are outlined in a compatible hue, forming strands of metallic design with a contemporary feel. Made of vinyl, this textured pattern is as practical as it is pretty. There are three palettes including silver with taupe, aqua with silver, and magenta with purple. Use with Symphony silk or Oasis.

CHANNING

This design replicates the look of slender fibers, in neutral shades, woven into a fine gauge grass cloth. The organic appearance belies its manufactured origin, easy care, and durability. The quartet of color ways, including a gold, beige and black mixture or a grey with taupe and cream combination, can be successfully mixed with other patterns.

OASIS

An idyllic place to rest the eye, this nearly solid wallpaper has a soft patina reminiscent of the tiny folds and fibers seen in handmade papers. It’s the modest texture and faintest variation in color that creates that soft finish, and a trace of sheen that gives it life. The three available colors, pale blue, creamy mascarpone, or palest taupe, may be combined with Aubrey or Sheffield.

CHALFONTE

Tiny inconsistent chains run vertically on this wallpaper, forming a pattern that reminds one of a knitted fabric. The lines vary in width, mimicking rows of fine yarn with intermittent slubs that create a slight texture. The single selection has pale taupe on cream coloration that can be used with Sheffield.

CHLOE

Botanical art dates almost to the dawn of time and helped to identify herbal medicines through illustration. Today we enjoy it for the representation of diverse flowers and plants. This wallpaper is an example of a large, open, and airy drawing depicting flowers of the fields in a charmingly whimsical fashion. Here and there the addition of color enlivens this pleasing pattern. A quartet of color ways await your choice, including combinations of black, blue, red, yellow, green, and brown, or brown, aqua, pink, and green; both on a pristine white ground.

WALK THE LINE

Irregular lines, from pinstripe to quarter inch, track up and down this durable and long wearing vinyl wallpaper. The pattern is small scale but creates an interesting vertical texture. The single available color is a soft grey with a bit of sheen and the wavering stripes are beige. The neutral shade would work well with Malabar.

SYMPHONY SILK

It looks like industrious spinners of silk worked overtime to create their cocoons making this luscious wallpaper possible. Au contraire, this varicolored pattern with the horizontal slubs and striations only looks like that costly, shimmering, imported cloth once limited to the rich and privileged. Among the five palettes is taupe with purple or the very neutral greige, a blend of grey and beige. Use with Bella and Cozumel in compatible hues.

ARIA

This large and lovely design with the free-form feeling of curvilinear loops and curlicues is a delight to behold. The iridescent ground, softly gleaming, is adorned with an oversized contrasting pattern. The appearance of distressing and the placid colors add to the gracious refinement of this wallpaper. In five color ways including whipped cream on lavender or icy white on golden pearl.
