Skills Development
By Mansheng Wong
I started my front cover by obtaining a font from “Dafont.com”. I think this font has certain school connotations that make my magazine relate to my target audience. Firstly I opened and selected the font by using select>Color Range> and scrolled down to select shadows.
My wanted my font to be school related as well as big and noticable.
Masthead.
Picture editing.
Firstly, I rubbed off the black board edges off to make the picture look more model like.
I then changed the Hue/saturation to a lower light so that people are able to read the text.
The Final image.
Inserting text
I inserted text by using the horizontal type tool.
I used colours to show what the significant articles are and the facts.
As I put the text on I highlighted some of the words and only used two colours as most magazines have this type of feature.
I used the blue to show similarities between the models clothing and the fonts.
I used orange as a indication for a feature article.
