SKYDECK is the rooftop of the very known former Sony Music building, located in the heart of Lincoln Road. The rooftop used to be a heliport, which pad covers about half the space. In 2012, SKYDECK was renovated, designed to reminisce the feeling of the upper deck of a private yacht, to become the most exclusive venue of Miami Beach.

Is music allowed?

FAQ

Yes, music is allowed until midnight. Live music is also allowed, with a special permit.

Can we leave material overnight?Leaving materials overnight is at your own risks. UPPER DECK LLC is not responsible for anything left overnight, the security of the space or the building in general, the theft or any loss or damage to person or property.

What if it rains?In case of unfortunate weather, SKYDECK is equipped with customized covers made of mesh material. These covers won't obstruct the view and will protect all guests from wind and rain.

Is smoking pemitted?Yes, smoking is permitted on the terrace.

Can we set up our event the day before?Yes. Load-in and load-out day rentals are available and subject to an additional fee.

Is there any security deposit?Yes. A security deposit needs to be made prior to the event. It will be refunded if no damage has been incurred and user complied with all obligations.

Do we need insurance?Yes, a certificate of insurance listing UPPER DECK LLC is required.

Do we need a specific insurance for liquor?Yes. If you plan on serving liquor, you must carry a liquor liability insurance. If you plan on selling liquor, you must carry a liquor sale’s license.NB: Liquor can only be served or sold to guests aged 21 or older, until 12.00 am, everyday. For longer events, please contact us.
