Say [O Muhammad]: “Behold, I am bidden to (A’-BUD) worship

(serve) Allah, sincere in my faith in Him alone (MUKHLISAN); and

I am bidden to be foremost among (AL-MUSLIMEEN) those who

surrender themselves unto Allah.”

(Qur’an: Az-Zumar: 39: 12)


Say: “Behold, I would Say: “Behold, I would dread, were I to rebel against my dread, were I to rebel against my

SustainerSustainer, the suffering [which would befall me] on that , the suffering [which would befall me] on that

““seeing that for those who seeing that for those who shun the powers of evil shun the powers of evil

lest they [be tempted to] worship themlest they [be tempted to] worship them, and turn unto , and turn unto

Allah instead, there is the glad tiding [of happiness in Allah instead, there is the glad tiding [of happiness in

““THOSE (THOSE (YAS-TAMI-’UU-NA-QAWLYAS-TAMI-’UU-NA-QAWL) ) who listen who listen

[closely] to all that is said, [closely] to all that is said, and (and (FAYAT-TA-BI-’UUNAFAYAT-TA-BI-’UUNA) )

follow the best of itfollow the best of it: [for] it is they whom Allah has : [for] it is they whom Allah has

graced with His guidance (graced with His guidance (HADA-HUMULLAHHADA-HUMULLAH), and it ), and it

is they who are [truly] endowed with insight (is they who are [truly] endowed with insight (ULUL-ULUL-

AL-BABAL-BAB)!”)!”

of suffering has been passed [be rescued by man]? of suffering has been passed [be rescued by man]?

Couldst thou, perchance, save one who is [already, as it Couldst thou, perchance, save one who is [already, as it

As against this, they who of their Sustainer are conscious (As against this, they who of their Sustainer are conscious (TAQWATAQWA) )

shall [in the life to come] have mansions raised upon mansions shall [in the life to come] have mansions raised upon mansions

high, beneath which running waters flow: [this is] Allah’s promise - high, beneath which running waters flow: [this is] Allah’s promise -

[and] never does Allah fail to fulfil His promise.”[and] never does Allah fail to fulfil His promise.”




“ART THOU NOT aware that it is Allah who sends

down water from the skies, and then causes it to

travel through the earth in the shape of springs? And

then He brings forth thereby herbage of various hues;

and then it withers, and thou canst see it turn yellow;

and in the end He causes it to crumble to dust.

Verily, in [all] this there is indeed a reminder to those

who are endowed with insight! (ULUL-AL-BAB)!”

(Qur’an: Az-Zumar: 39: 21)

O Lord! Teach us whatever that is beneficial for us.


O Allah! Make us to be people who guide (others) and who O Allah! Make us to be people who guide (others) and who

are (always) Guided (by Your Guidance) are (always) Guided (by Your Guidance) ..


Not of those who are astray and Not of those who are astray and

who lead people astray.who lead people astray.


O Allah! Guide us all O Allah! Guide us all

with Your Guidance.with Your Guidance.


And make us people who hasten towards what And make us people who hasten towards what

pleases You.pleases You.


And do not let us be protected (by others) except only with And do not let us be protected (by others) except only with

Your Protection (as our Guardian).Your Protection (as our Guardian).


And do not make us to be of those who differ from Your And do not make us to be of those who differ from Your

command and who are disobedient towards You.command and who are disobedient towards You.


And sufficient is Allah for us, And sufficient is Allah for us,

for He is the Best Protectorfor He is the Best Protector


And there is no power nor strength except And there is no power nor strength except

from what they ascribe (to Him)! And Peace on the

Worlds.”
