Cisco Small Business Webinar Series

We use WebEx Event Center for these sessions.

We may use CUVA Cameras or Cisco Small Business Video Surveillance IP Cameras during the event.

We usually have several panelists (experts) on hand to address Q&A that you can post during the event

Audio Bridge versus Call Back to put you in teleconference

We record the sessions (Partner Central and the Community).

Each Session will last between 30 minutes to an Hour and we usually allocate the last 15 minutes for Q&A. Sessions can include multiple topics.

We are interested in your feedback so we can continue these sessions in a successful way. Please send me an email ([email protected]) with input and suggestions.

Today’s Topic: CDP-F

Continuous Data Protection for Files (CDP-F) – bundled with any of our Network Storage Systems

– addresses a business’s need to protect valuable data

– CDP-F offers continuous data protection, as opposed to the traditional checkpoint-style scheduled backup

Replication Traditional Backup

A new backup paradigm using a unique hybrid approach from IBM

• To-Disk duplication

• Lightening fast

• Real-time for high-importance files

• Tolerant of transient networks

• Multiple targets

• Versioning of files

• Point-in-time restore

• Central administration

• Archiving (vaulting)

• Retention

• Highly scalable

What makes CDP for Files Unique?

Time and productivity no longer lost; user self-restore at any time/place.

Hands-off operation

CDP is a client-only solution, focusing on workstations/laptops only.CDP pushes bits and manages from the edge

Trivial to install and deploy...from a lone user to your whole small business!

CDP has special email and database file supportMoving only the changed blocks

CDP has been solution tested with Cisco Small Business NSS

CDP is manageable, simplyCentral administration, Locked configurations, etc
