The Polywall software (Polymedia’s
product) is a full pledged visualization
control and management tool that
allow swiftly and easily controlling
hardware and software information
sources and display received date in
the best demonstrative form.
A server part of the solution is installed
at a video wall controller while a client
part (en editor) runs at an operator's
computer with intuitive user interface.
Visualization control system
Audio conference system (congress system) Main Press Center congress system provides audio interacting between speakers as well as supporting off-
line and on-line participants and listeners, simultaneous interpreting, electronic archiving and on-line
broadcasting.
The system includes table top microphone units of DIS delegates and DIS central unit allowing controlling
microphones according to a certain regulations. A hallmark of the equipment is using a crypto algorithm that prevents eavesdropping voice signals at the
channel with various radio scanners. The technology is patented and approved by a number of international
state security services.
Simultaneous interpreting system
Simultaneous interpreting facilities used at press conferences and other events provided comfortable
conditions for journalists from all over the world and supported high quality 8 language interpreting in spite
of the fact than during Olympic Games 2014 at peak periods they number up to 18 per a day. The system
has been built on the basis of the following equipment:
• DIS DT 6008 eight channel digital transmitter
• DIS RA6013 digital emitter
• DIS IS 6132 Р table top simultaneous interpreter unit with DIS IH 6000 headset
• DIS DR 6004 four channel digital receiver with DIS DH 6021 earphones

Documenting and broadcasting system
The system performs the following MPC missions:
• Recording multimedia resources
• Indexing records relative to electronic resources (slides)
• Cataloging, storing and review multimedia resources
Epiphan VGADVI Recorder Pro recording server provides at any conference hall a possibility to
simultaneously record two VGA, DVI and/or HDMI signals as well as analog composite or S-video signal and

Sound system
The Main Press Center is equipped with an intelligent sound system on the basis of Biamp and Bose units
that enables automate voice control.
The function is implemented with Biamp Tesira Server-IO digital network server equipped with additional I/O
cards.
Using such a system allowed to provide high quality sounds and convenient control over sonic flow inside
rooms. The modes are controlled distantly by means of an integrated control system.
Bose facilities are used for sound amplification. PowerMatch PM8500N is only 2U in height. It combines very
high quality of the best AB class units with D class efficiency. Bose PeakBank power supply unit works in 4 quadrant mode with a real time power factor correction.

Switching system
MPC switching system is designed on the basis of Extron equipment and contains all necessary tools for
signal retrieval, conversion and distributing as well as cable passages. Using Extron tools Polymedia
consolidated HD-SDI video signals from video cameras at all halls into one DVI Matrix Switchers HDCP-
Compliant HD-SDI switch.

The integrated system functions correspond to the
extreme requirements of the highest audio and video
quality inherent to medical equipment, cartography and
other institutes where such solutions play a critical role.
Main Press Center integrated control system Polymedia Company used its partner Crestron equipment for intelligent controlling all integrated systems of
the Main Press Center.
• The newest Crestron PR03 central controller (six RS-232/422/485 configured control ports, eight infrared
ports, eight low-current relays, eight I/O ports, two RJ45 ports for accessing Ethernet 10/100Mbit/s local
area network)
• Crestron TPS-6x table top touch screen control panel Integrated control system provides a possibility
to create a individual graphic interface for each
system and each user with due regard to
ergonomic and even its aesthetic preferences.
All the functions of controlling and managing
integrated systems are consolidated at a
specialized operator's PC. Its graphic user
interface can be complemented with simple
control functions absolutely clear to any user
even without additional training as well as
service functions necessary to skilled
technicians for fine tuning particular tasks.
Consideration of the environment
When selecting AV equipment Polymedia generally opted for Panasonic because of ergonomics, high
quality and ecological design.
To minimize environmental impact the manufacturer offers a great variety of product design and
engineering.
Panasonic focuses on constant development of eco-friendly products that fully meet requirements of
environmental protection standards basing on reconstructed models and careful material selection.
Nowadays Panasonic may state with certainty that it has reached full compliance with RoHS directive
due
to understanding ecological problems and necessity to solve them. All the manufacturer’s products —
31,400 models altogether — fully comply with RoHS requirements. Using state-of-the-art equipment for
testing chemical substances the company carefully checks all manufacturing stages down to material
entered to be sure in full congruity of its manufacturing system.
