AUSTIN DOG RESCUE About: Originally a part of the Austin Dog Alliance, they broke off into a separate organization in 2007.

Because they are a non-profit with a staff made up of entirely volunteers, they began to struggle in terms of recognition since they did not have a central office in Texas.

THEIR GOALThe Austin Dog Rescue wanted to spread the word about the hundreds of dogs available for adoption. They wanted to get more traffic coming through their website because they lack a central office.They turned to Facebook and created a business page along with advertisements that would be displayed on peoples’ feeds.

THEIR SUCCESS With the help of Facebook, Austin Dog Rescue has helped over 1,000 dogs find homes!

Over the course of 16 months, there was a 50% increase in adoption and a 57% increase in foster home applications.

80% of the traffic that they were receiving was from click-throughs on Facebook.

SEVENLY Sevenly is an online apparel and accessory retailer while donating millions to charity.

Every 7 days, a new product goes live; and with every sale, the company donates $7 from that purchase to the charity they are teamed up with for that week.

Their plan is to use marketing tactics to raise awareness about various charities.

THEIR GOAL Company founders wanted to increase awareness about their company and about the charities they’re promoting.

They wanted to build a community around doing good. They used Facebook business pages and advertisements to increase traffic to the website and inform more people about what the company stands for.

Early on, they made hourly posts on the Facebook page, informing the audience about limited time sales & monitored ads over 24hrs and boosted the more popular ones.
