2. Why is it important? So businesses can weigh the interests and actions of groups. It also provides security for the environment. Diversify the work place with people of all nationalities and genders. Provide work for elderly and disable workers. 3. Resources Renewable resources are resources that can be replenished such as water and cotton Nonrenewable resources are resources that can not be restored. Examples include gas, oil, copper, and iron ore. 4. Benefits Benefits keep employees happy and increase worker productivity. A company also gets a great public image that they care about their workers when they give them many benefits. 5. Google and SAS Google is the number 1 place to work according to Fortune magazine. They have many recreational activities at their headquarters. The SAS Institute in Cary is one of the top 40 companies to work for and has one of the top health care benefits in the United States. The SAS Institute also offers many recreational activites. 6. Government Government has a role in all of the economic systems whether it be national, state, or local. They provide services, protect workers, regulate utilities, provide information, promote competition, hire employees and raise revenue.
