Comenius The objective of teacher training abroad
• to compare the way in which the school practice of
future science teachers is organised in your home
and host countries
• to find the best practices and to identify common
needs of trainees and trainers
• to improve your knowledge of another European
education system, country, language, and your
teaching skills
• to improve pupils’ motivation in studying physics and
chemistry, even in foreign language, and increase
interest in trainee’s country and culture

Survival course
Before the mobility
a 24 hr intensive course (6 days, 4 hr/day) in English will be arranged for you if you need it.
When arriving at the host institution
a 18 hr orientative course (3 days) will be arranged, including elementary studies in the language of the host country and knowledge of the local history and culture.

• Read carefully all financing papers
• Grant
• You will get 80% before you leave
• The rest 20% will be given after you have given the final
report
• Final grant will not exceed your real costs
• Give final report to EU TRAIN in two weeks after return
• Travel insurance accepted only for the period of training
• Original receipts, used tickets, copy of the insurance paper
