• IfyouareshootingwithaSLOGPictureProfile,thenuseISOsettingsasyourpresets.3200ISOwillgiveyouthemaximumdynamicrangeofthecamera,and(whenproperlyexposed)novisiblenoise.

UsingtheVariableNDfilterMovetheNDfilterknobtothehighest(darkest)preset,turntheswitchbelowtoVARIABLEandthenturntheswitchbelowthattoND.ThewheelwillthenadjusttheNDlevelvariably.

ThevariableNDisusefulifyouwanttomaintainaconsistentfstop(IRIS)invariablelightconditions.Itisasimplewaytoadjustexposurewithoutaffectingdepthoffield.

ManualShutterControlPresstheSHUTTERbuttontotogglebetweenmanualandautoshutter.Inmanual,movetheSEL/SETwheeltoadjustshutterspeed andthenpresstheSEL/SETwheeltomaintainthatspeed.

Iftheshutterspeedfallsbelowtwicetheframerate,youwillhavemotionblur.Thefastertheshutterspeedthemorestaccato-likethemotion.

• ThisguidereferstothedefaultsettingsineachPictureProfile.• UnfortunatelySystemMenu/InitializedoesnotresetthePictureProfiles.• EachPictureProfilecanbeadjustedmanually,thereforeitiswisetoreseteachPictureProfileinthePictureProfilesettingsbeforeusingit,ThiswillsettheProfilebacktothefactorysettingsdiscussedhere.• IfyouaremorefamiliarwiththeProfiles,andgammaandgamut,youmaywishtoadjustthemtosuityourtastes.
