The school started its life in 1996, while the official opening ceremony took place in 2001

It’s dedicated to the national hero Photis Pittas who fought against the English in the 1955-59, EOKA struggle.

There are about 750 students, and almost 100 teachers.

The school curriculum has a wide range of courses, including languages such as Spanish, Italian, Russian, also Math, Biology, Physics, Medieval History etc.

The school is involved with another Comenius project, and as we speak, students and teachers from Catalonia, Germany and Finland are being hosted at our school.
