I started Sparky's in the mid 90's after realizing that most BMX distro's at the time were corporate companies all single minded about profi ts and not the overall well-being of BMX. We wanted a distro that could be more like a family than just a shipping warehouse. We wanted a place that only carried the brands we were friends with fi rst. This sounds logical, right? However in the mid 90's, this was not the norm.

Now, fast forward to 2011 and here we are with our newest catalog in your hands. This book is showcasing a ton of work from our extended family at Shadow, Subrosa, Mutiny, Banned, Tempered, Bone Deth, Rant, and Sputnic. I couldn’t be more proud about this group of companies, the people, and their crews! Each of these brands care 110% about BMX and making the best product that can be made today!

As you can see, Sparky's has set out to support BMX. This is the same for your local shops and mail orders. These businesses are the heart beat of your scene and they can't be there for you unless you are there for them. This is not a mail order catalog.
