PROJECT INTRODUCTION The public welfare industry in China is developing faster than never before. Under this trend, there are so many NGOs and public welfare ins?tu?ons thronging day by day. Nonetheless, seldom do public know about these organiza?ons and the vulnerable groups. AIESEC as a global youth organiza?on, we have our uniqueness in contribu?ng to improving the current situa?on, and Special Care was ini?ated. By now there are 9 LCs run Special Care projects, mainly focusing on helping au?sm children, hearing impaired children and other physically and mentally disadvantaged children. By par?cipa?ng in daily works in such ins?tu?ons, trainees will gain more knowledge about these special groups, and they are supposed to host public events, such as fund raising or experience sharing ac?vi?es, to raise public awareness towards the special groups. Besides, we are also connec?on CSR resources to the ins?tu?ons in need. The long-‐term vision is that AIESEC could be a bridge between the ins?tu?ons and social resources, engaging trainees with professional knowledge, to make the society care more about the vulnerable groups and improve the professionalism of the ins?tu?ons.
