The project has been spearheaded by the Front Royal/ Warren County Tree Stewards and the Beautification Committee in partnership with the Town of Front Royal and Warren County. Now that it is completed with 5 miles of trail, our community has something to be very proud of. The trail goes from the Visitors Center (Main Street), down Luray Avenue to the South Fork of the Shenandoah River where it travels through Eastham Park south along the river. From there it continues up near Skyline High School. There, you have a choice to use the sidewalk to Criser Road or walk through the woods and the National Park to Criser Road where it crosses Happy Creek and returns you to the Visitors Center.
