You will receive a Post-Diploma Certificate (PDC) upon successful completion of each semester, and be awarded the Specialist Diploma in Biomedical & Pharmaceutical Engineering upon successful completion of both PDCs:

• PDC in GxP* of Operations Management (150 hours)This PDC has six modules which will give you a comprehensive overview of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) production, GxP projection management, and computer system validation, with two Integrated Work Study Projects

• PDC in GxP of Quality Assurance & Compliance (150 hours)This PDC consists of six modules where you will learn Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) knowledge and applications, industry safety and Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA), Corrective Action – Preventive Action (CAPA) and Risk Assessment, with two Integrated Work Study Projects

*GxP is a general term for good practice quality guidelines and regulations used in medical devcies, biologics, pharmaceuticals and food industries

Courses will comprise continuous skills-based assessment (no exams) through in-class assignments, participations, quizzes, presentations, practicals, project work and class performance
