The Mississippi CSI Product Show and Seminars have a long standing tradition of excellence. This is the 31st annual Show and our CSI Chapter is as dedicated today as it was 31 years ago to providing the design and building community in our area with quality exhibits and the best in educational seminars. Here is what those who have attended have to say about the Show:
Jack Ballard, AIA, CSI, CCCA JBHM Architects
Being a big proponent of attending the Missis-sippi CSI Product Show, I can’t remember a year when while viewing and visiting with the various product booths, I didn’t find an exhibitor with a product or system that was not helpful and pertinent to an on-going project in my office. As a matter of staying well informed and up to date on the latest products and technology in our industry a visit to the Mississippi CSI Products Show is well worth the time and effort.
John Dunaway, AIA, CSI, CCS Canizaro Cawthon Davis Architects
I never miss the Show. It’s the one of the most important events of the year for me. I gather information to improve our office standard specifications by talking with the exhibitors and discussing problems or issues I’ve encountered throughout the previous year. I find new products of which I was unaware. I meet Product Representatives and renew my old ac-quaintances, which is of vital importance to me. That’s because I’m a people person. I’d rather
Why should you attend the Mississippi CSI Show and Seminars? What others have to say.
trust a long time friend’s advice than download information off a website. Can you believe ev-erything you find on line? Probably not, but a sales person that wants a long term relationship with you and wants you to continue to use their products will level with you and help you do your job. The Show is my best tool to keep those relationships strong and keep myself abreast of the latest innovations from people I know and trust. I also plan to attend the exciting Building Envelope Seminar so I can learn more about keeping water out of my clients buildings.
Michael Hale, AIA, CSI Dean and Dean Architects
I first attended the show as a student in 1991. Since then I have attended regularly to see the latest products. It’s not enough to see the items in a catalog; you have to see the products themselves along with the people who will represent them. I always manage to find something that is just what I have been looking for but couldn’t find anywhere. You just can’t ask a brochure or a catalog a direct question. I must also say that you won’t find this level of fellowship anywhere in the construction community besides at the CSI Product Show. See you there.
Thomas L. (Tom) Clarke, Jr. FCSI, CCS, CCPR, CCCA, SCIP Specification Consultant
I would not miss the Mississippi CSI Chapter’s Product Show because it has a lot to offer all of the Construction Team Members. I get to see
some old friends, make new friends, and see and handle samples of new products, and update product literature for my library. There are always nice and useful hand-outs and door prizes. Oh, and lets not forget about all the good food, free parking, and free admission to the Product Show. I recommend starting the day off early by attending the excellent educational seminars, which include continuing quality education units and are always very reasonably priced. I could go on and on but you get the picture. I hope to see all ya’ll there!!!
Randall Lewis, CSI, AIA JH&H Architects
As an architect, I look forward to our show each year. Some folks think they can get all of the product information that they need from the web and don’t think the Product Shows are important. I want you to know that I do value the show and the contacts that I make at the show. You can’t look someone in the eye while you send them an email question. Lets be real, there are many great construction products in our industry. Often the decision of which product to specify or select comes down to the relationship with the person selling and standing behind the product. If I am reviewing two products and I have met the person who represents and supports one product but don’t know the other person or company, it’s not very hard to see which I am going to choose. I am going to specify products that meet my client’s needs and will provide the service and support throughout the life of the product.

Derbigum Americas, Inc. has over 75 years of roofing experience. The story begins in 1932 with the creation of Imperbel, a family business producing waterproofing mastics, located in Lot, south of Brussels, Belgium. Derbigum made its introduction to the United States roofing market in 1979 when a group of roofing contractors-turned-investors purchased the marketing and manufacturing rights to Derbigum in North America. Known then as Derbigum America Corporation, they offered American building owners a durable alternative to antiquated built-up roofs and unproven EPDM and PVC single ply membranes. Its success and acceptance was immediate. Today, Derbigum is an undisputed industry leader. With 350 employees worldwide, the company is present across the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia. Three production sites, two in Belgium and one in the US, turn out over 161 million square feet of Derbigum membranes and 77 million pounds of liquid products annually.
A leading manufacturer of sustainable modified bitumen roofing systems in the US since 1979, their emphasis on research, sustainability, and environmental stewardship has harvested innovative products to provide savings for building owners and the environment. In addition to modified bitumen roofing systems, Derbigum also offers integrated photovoltaic systems, bio-filtration eco-roofing systems, solar tube day-lighting, liquid applied
