The Basics of Speed Mentoring
• Split into groups of 10 (or less)• Each group has five
mentoring dyads• ½ mentors (>7 years)• ½ mentees
• Each mentee will have a chance to talk with each mentor• We tried to arrange by interest
sessions)• Movement time – 2 minutes• Wrap-up/Next steps – 5 minutes• Alarm will sound when time to switch

•Mentees move• Mentors remain in the same seat•When the bell/announcer sounds you

• Schedule a phone call with an individual• An entire group could also schedule a call• Make sure there is an “agenda” to the call• Establish freedom to email with questions• Continue conversations during the cruise
