In case of a weatherrelated closing, or any other type of emergency closing, theUniversity has an extensive media contact list for such emergencysituations. For information about all radio and TV outlets that will becontacted upon closing, please visit the University’s main webpage atwww.clayton.edu. Conflicts can be hard. Most people want to avoid conflicts altogether. Many get so emotional that they feel they can't even say a single word.Others may rely on a simple age-old technique of silence treatment, whichdoes not really do them or others any good. What do you do when you arein a conflict? Do you just leave it and hope that it goes away? Thechances are that it probably doesn't go away and will come back to hauntyou. Conflicts have a tendency to escalate when untreated, they canmake the environment toxic and unproductive and eventually the conflictmay come to control you rather you controlling it.

In this management course, you will learn how to perform conflictresolution, prevent discussions from escalating into conflicts, understandpsychological tactics used on you and the best way to respond, negotiateand manage your emotions.
