Parking Lot Mass Participation

to Receive Eucharist

We invite you to participate in Sunday, 8:30am Mass by parking your vehicle in the back lot.

We changed to 8:30am that you can enjoy Mass

during the cooler part of the day! Please park your vehicle along the south side of church across from the portico.

While in your vehicle, you can access an audio feed of the Mass by tuning your

car radio to frequency FM88.1. (This Mass is not live–streamed.)

At the time for distribution of the Eucharist, an assistant will come out ahead of the Eucharistic Minister with hand sanitizer. Even though you are in your car, please put on a mask at this time. You will need to roll down your car windows and hold out both

your hands with your palms up. The assistant will spray your hands with hand sanitizer. Then the Eucharistic Minister will give you communion. The Eucharistic

Minister will be wearing a face covering/mask and a face shield.

The assistant will also be carrying a basket for offerings should you wish to make your Sunday donation in this way.

Please be patient because it will take some time to get to each person. Thank you for the prayers you have offered for our parish already! We know God hears them because we

could not have come this far without them!

While our staff and volunteers attempt to take appropriate precautions consistent with the advice of public health authorities, parishioners and guests should understand that they

assume the risk of contracting Covid-19 anytime they enter a public space since such precautions do not eliminate the risk of infection.

We warmly welcome you to St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish!

Registering at St. Alphonsus Parish is important so that we can serve your needs for events such as Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals, School Registrations, Religious Education Registrations and more! We are often asked to provide letters as affidavits for Baptismal and Confirmation sponsors. We

would also like to reach out to those who are sick at home, in the hospital or a nursing home. Young adults age 18+ should register on their own.

Registered parishioners receive all mailings throughout the year. If you currently do not receive mailings, you can register online at www.SaintAlphonsusPH.org, or call the Parish Office at

847-255-7452. You will receive a Welcome Packet which includes helpful information about our parish, and pertinent information regarding our many parish ministries.

For those already registered who would like to update their information, or receive e-mail communication about parish events, please call the Parish Office at 847-255-7452.

Pray the Rosary

The word Rosary means “Crown of Roses”

Each time you say a complete Rosary, you are giving the Blessed Virgin Mary a beautiful crown of roses. The Holy Rosary is a very

powerful form of prayer.

We’re back! Join us in church as we pray the Rosary for world peace and special intentions

every Wednesday morning at 7:45am.

Hello Parishioners,

Progress on my AHG Stars and Stripes Project, Building Outdoor Stations of the Cross:

Stepping stones for each station were made on July 24, 25 and 26 by American Heritage Girls from Troop IL1317. A huge thank you to Mr. Carmen Marchetti for assisting me in the creation of the station boxes by

cutting the plastic lumber and pre-drilling holes for assembling the station boxes! Thank you to the St. Alphonsus Landscape & Garden Ministry and the Knights of Columbus for volunteering to dig post holes

and put in the posts for the stations! Thank you Parishioners for all of your prayers and support!

All parishioners are invited to the Dedication of the Outdoor Stations of the Cross on August 23rd

following morning Mass at 9:45am. We will meet by the front of the church at the beginning of the stations. Fr. Joe will bless each station and then after Parishioners are invited to stay and pray the

stations individually. Sincerely, Marianna Maslanka
