St. Andrew School
April Newsletter 2016 Message from Administration
Welcome back everyone! We hope that you had a very safe and restful Easter break.
Spring has certainly sprung and here at St. Andrew School we reflect on and give thanks for the
miracles God has given us. There are many exciting events happening in the coming months so
make sure to check the calendar for a full listing of events and times.
We are currently in the planning stages for the 2016-2017 school year. Our Kindergarten
registration is already higher than usual and we encourage any families who have not yet
registered or know of anyone interested in registering to contact the school as soon as possible.
Also, if you are planning on moving out of the area or leaving St. Andrew School please let us
know. It is important that we know our numbers as early as possible so that we can properly
plan for instructional planning.
Finally, it is with a heavy heart that I announce my placement as principal at Father
Doucet School next school year. I am happy to announce the appointment of Mrs. Maureen
Collins, current principal of St. Angela School, as the incoming principal of St. Andrew. I look
forward to the next few months of teaching and learning together as a family as we finish of a
wonderful year.

Spring Fundraiser
Back by popular demand –
Our 9th Annual Spring Fundraiser!
With spring arriving early this year, you might be eager to start your outdoor planting. Rest assured, we’re running our popular plant fundraiser again this
year. Order forms will be coming home soon.
New for this Year … We’re excited to be offering Spolumbos sausages as part of our Spring Fundraiser. It’s a great way to kick-off barbeque season, and stock up your
freezer for the entire summer.
We understand that money is tight for many families right now. All we ask is that if you’re thinking of buying spring plants or Spolumbo sausages, please consider purchasing them
through our fundraiser, rather than from your usual store. By doing so, you directly help fund fieldtrips, T-pets, Google ChromeBooks, etc., for our St. Andrew’s students. Thanks.
Spring Family Dance
Join us for the Spring
Family Dance on Friday, April 15th.
Watch for forms coming home in early April.
Consider volunteering 30 minutes of your time and/or donating
cookies to help make this event a success.
Hope to see you there!
Spring Fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who supported our Purdy’s Easter Chocolate Fundraiser!
