The Missionaries of the Precious Blood On August 15, 2015, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood (C.PP.S.) will celebrate the 200th anniversary of their founding. Their

members minister in our St. Augustine parish. Over the course of the next year, we

will join in their celebration by sharing the story of the C.PP.S., and learning about

their spirituality and mission. ***************************************************************************

Did you know???

St. Gaspar, the founder of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, was ordained in 1808, at the age of 22. While studying for the

priesthood, he visited the sick and the poor, often stopping at a bakery first to buy a sweet treat to share with them. He offered

constant encouragement to others, and founded a young persons’ religious organization, whose members prayed and did charitable

work together. He had the gift, said one of his biographers, Amilcar Rey, of multiplying time, “of forcing his day to expand to include everything his busy mind could imagine.” Can we imagine new ways of serving God and his people, especially those most in

need of our care?

St. Augustine Catholic Parish Fund By making a gift to the St. Augustine Catholic Parish Fund,

you’ll be providing perpetual financial support. It’s a wonderful way to demonstrate your stewardship and pass on your faith and love for St. Augustine Parish. Contact the parish office to learn more.

Rediscover Your Marriage Retrouvaille ('re-trō-vī) simply means 'rediscovery'. The program

offers the chance to rediscover yourself, your spouse, and a loving relationship in your marriage. Countless couples headed for

divorce have successfully saved their marriages by attending. Retrouvaille is a not spiritual retreat, not a sensitivity group, not a seminar, not a social gathering. For confidential information about

or to register for the program beginning with a weekend on Februrary 27 - 29, call 317-489-6811 or email: [email protected] or visit the web site at
