QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“…. who do people say that I am?” Matthew 16:13
The answers the disciples gave varied because they recognized some of the attributes of individual prophets in Jesus. Peter saw what the Messiah was supposed to be because Jesus reflected who he was. A steward reflects generosity and this is immediate-
ly recognizable to all that he meets.

BOX TOPS/TYSON A+/ SCHOOL SPIRIT PROGRAM
We would like to thank St. Bernard School and community for collecting Box Tops, Tyson A+, and School Spirit labels for the school and preschool/after school care programs. The money raised with these labels helps to maintain and update the play-grounds, which are an expensive endeavor. Please, make sure you are not throwing money away and get friends and other relatives to save too. You can go to the Box Top website (www.labelsforeducation.com) and sign up for ways we can earn extra Box Tops and you can also get coupons. We want parish members to help us also. Just drop them off at church or the office. There are other things we can do to make “free” money too. Tyson A+ labels are worth .24 each and Aunt Mil-lie’s School Spirit labels are worth .05 each. This is a great way for us to get supplies and larger items for our school at no cost to us. A BIG THANK YOU for all you have done and remem-
ber to get everyone involved and keep saving those labels!

MARRIAGE MOMENTS
How wise, knowledgeable and beyond human understanding are the ways of God. (Romans 11:33-36) When in the throes of love one's spouse may seem to also have these qualities. What intellectual trait is your
beloved strongest in? What about yourself? By Susan Vogt, www.SusanVogt.net
PARENTING POINTERS
Sometimes parents of young adults (15-30+) struggle with what appears to be a lack of faith in their offspring. Consider, "Sometimes you must lose faith to find it." Your child may have to let go of "inherited faith" and eventually
reflect on what is missing in their life. (Parenting Your Adult
Child) By Susan Vogt, www.SusanVogt.net
