“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things
with great love.” Mother Teresa
Think for a minute or two What do you think God
wants for the world?

God intends good things
for us! Long ago, God spoke through
the prophets and told us about the
promise of the good things would be
created in our world. This promise was
kept alive through the ages. Jesus knew
this promise. In today's Gospel, Jesus
reminds us of this promise and tells us
something new
He announces His mission, and the
work He will do to show forth the
Kingdom of God.

Listen carefully as the Gospel is read!

We hear stories every day of people in need in our country
and around the world. What are some areas of need that you
know about? Are any of the needs we see in the world today
like the needs that Jesus named?

Do you know what Jesus has given to us to help us help
people in need? We’ve been given the gi# of the Holy Spirit!
We receive the gi# of the Holy Spirit at our Bap'sm, and this
gi# is strengthened at Confirma'on. The Holy Spirit helps us
serve the Kingdom of God!

Think about ways that you and your family can help people in
need, and talk with your Mom & Dad about what your family
can do to help.
