SAINTS AND SPECIAL OBSERVANCES Sunday: Twenty-second Sunday in Ordinary Time Wednesday: St. Gregory the Great Friday: First Friday Saturday: First Saturday; Blessed Virgin Mary

Dear fellow intentional disciples,

Hi Everyone! Praised be Jesus Christ! In order to create an even more inviting environment in our social hall for those seeking to build up the social bonds of our parish community and to create an even more welcoming environment for those “seekers” who visit our parish in the midst of their journeys of faith, starting next Sunday, September 7, please stop the social hall and check out the new furniture purchased for this purpose. Led by the Holy Spirit, the aim is to form a new ministry in the parish to promote fellowship and faith-sharing in a comfortable café environment after the 7, 8:30, 10:30 and 12:30 Sunday Masses. Calling forth those from our parish who have been blessed by God with the charism of providing food and drink refreshment for others, this gift can then produce much fruit in preparing the ground on which we can share with, support with and introduce to the precious gifts of our faith, hope and love with others. Parishioners, Mary and Brian O’Connor, bringing their years of experience working in the food and beverage field, will be holding a kick-off meeting for this emerging ministry on Monday, September 8 at 7:00 pm in the north annex of the parish (convent building just north of the church). If you’ve been looking for ways to better connect with your fellow parishioners, meet new ones and have some fun in a cool social setting come check it out! In Christ,

Fr. McGuire
