Change in Music Department Our choir director/organist for the last eight years, Christopher Wilcox, has left and a search committee is looking for a new choir director/organist. Christopher did far more than lead the choir – he planned and prepared a large number of liturgies which took place at St. Elizabeth’s. He arranged for the parish app and the live streaming of the mass. In addition, he served on the Diocesan Liturgy Commission and led music in many diocesan liturgies such as the annual chrism mass and ordinations. We wish him well in his next work location. Meanwhile the search committee is gathering resumes from around the country and the selection process for a new choir director has begun.
HOLY CROSS TUITION FUND Holy Cross Catholic High School is enrolling students for its 9th and 10th grades. Tuition for the first year is quite high as there are many startup costs involved in the school’s first year. The Finance Council has authorized Fr. Mark to receive donations from interested parishioners for a scholarship fund for St. Elizabeth students. Whatever is received will be divided among those students from St. Elizabeth’s enrolled in the school and applied towards their tuition. Give checks to Fr. Mark. For more information, call him at (432) 202-0336.
