Sunday, June 7, 2020 The Most Holy Trinity
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus:
We have finished the Easter season with the feast of Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit and the foundation of the Catholic Church. The solemnity of Pentecost makes us feel the living presence of Jesus in our midst, encouraging and strengthening us to continue in the construction of the Church, and with this force we now begin ordinary time. And we begin this new liturgical season with the solemnity of the Holy Trinity, the celebra-tion of this wonderful mystery of the nature of our God; mysterious and at the same time known that he loves and loves us so much, that he saves us, the God to whom we belong, from whom we left and to whom we will return one day.
Celebrating the Holy Trinity is celebrating the central mystery of our faith as Catholics. The Trinitarian mystery, which is Father, Son and Holy Spirit at the same time, is One and, at the same time, Three. A mystery difficult to understand and explain, a single divine nature and three people with that divine nature.
God who in his glorious manifestation of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit has manifested himself as a mys-tery of love for all, in a personal relationship, a relationship of communion. How beautiful it is to contemplate this manifestation, a Father who is origin - expressed in the old testament, a Son as an expression of the Father -new Testament, real presence, expressed in the Gospels- and the Holy Spirit who is present in the nascent church that it prepares the environment, the climate in which God the Father through his Son will express himself in history.
Today when we find ourselves in a social crisis, where it seems that the most important thing is individu-ality, it leads us to live in the ego of our beings. Forgetting that we are society, community, family. It is important that we take time to continue evangelizing and teaching our friends to always fight for peace and justice for all, where we all live as brothers in the same family. For this reason, the feast of the Holy Trinity is an opportunity to discover our personal being in relation to others. Following the example of God, and if we are made in the image and likeness of God, we are also called to be a community following the example of the community of the Father, with the Son and the Holy Spirit. A community in that mystery of relationship, of communion of love.
Thus, my brothers invite you to work for being a community of love, following the example of God. Be-ing a witness in our parish community, as brothers who love each other, who help each other, who forgive each other, who protect and strengthen each other. All this starting with the people who are closest to us, who live in our home, your partner, your marriage, your family, working to better live the values of respect, understanding, kindness, especially the union between parents and children. .
And as in the family, in the church and in society we must pray for unity, diversity of people, diversity of ministries with the same goal. To walk together as brothers and sisters towards the encounter of the Father, with Christ, through the Spirit.
May our prayer rise to God and our testimonies lead us to act in good and for peace in our society. So be it…

Domingo 7 de junio de 2020 Fiesta de la Santísima Trinidad
Estimados hermanos y hermanas en Cristo Jesús: Hemos terminado el tiempo Pascual con la fiesta de Pentecostés, la venida del Espíritu Santo y la funda-ción de la Iglesia católica. La solemnidad de Pentecostés nos hace sentir la presencia viva de Jesus en medio de nosotros animándonos y fortaleciéndonos para seguir en la construcción de la Iglesia, y con esta fuerza comenza-mos ahora el tiempo ordinario. Y comenzamos este nuevo tiempo litúrgico con la solemnidad de la Santísima Tri-nidad, la celebración de este maravilloso misterio de la naturaleza de nuestro Dios; misterioso y a la vez conocido que tanto nos quiere y ama, que nos salva, el Dios a quien pertenecemos, de quien salimos y a quien regresaremos algún día. Celebrar la Santísima Trinidad es celebrar el misterio central de nuestra fe como católicos. El misterio Trinitario, que es Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo a la vez, es Uno y al mismo tiempo, Tres. Un misterio difícil de entender y de explicar, una sola naturaleza divina y tres personas con esa naturaleza divina. Dios que en su manifestación gloriosa de Padre, de Hijo y del Espíritu Santo se ha manifestado como un misterio de amor para todos, en una relación personal, relación de comunión. Que hermoso es contemplar esta manifesta-ción, un Padre que es origen – expresado en el antiguo testamento, un Hijo como expresión del Padre -nuevo Tes-tamento, presencia real, expresado en los evangelios- y el Espíritu Santo que se hace presente en la iglesia nacien-te que prepara el ambiente, el clima en que se expresara Dios Padre por medio de su Hijo en la historia. Hoy cuando nos encontramos en una crisis social, donde parece ser que lo más importante es la individua-lidad, nos lleva a vivir en el ego de nuestros seres. Olvidándonos que somos sociedad, comunidad, familia. Es im-portante que nos demos un tiempo para seguir evangelizando y enseñando nuestras amistades a luchar siempre por una paz y justicia para todos, donde todos vivamos como hermanos en una misma familia. Por esto, la fiesta de la Santísima Trinidad es una oportunidad para descubrir nuestro ser personal en relación con los demás. A ejemplo de Dios, y si estamos hechos a imagen y semejanza de Dios, también somos llamados a ser comunidad a ejemplo de la comunidad del Padre, con el Hijo y el Espíritu Santo. Una comunidad en ese misterio de relación, de comu-nión de amor. Así, mis hermanos los invito a trabajar por ser una comunidad de amor, a ejemplo de Dios. Siendo testi-monio en nuestra comunidad parroquial, como hermanos que se aman, que se ayudan, que se perdonan, que se protegen y fortalecen mutuamente. Todo esto comenzando con las personas que están más cerca de nosotros, quienes viven en nuestro hogar, su pareja, su matrimonio, su familia, trabajando por vivir mejor los valores de respeto, la comprensión, la amabilidad, especialmente la unión entre padres e hijos. Y como en la familia, en la iglesia y la sociedad debemos orar por la unidad, la diversidad de personas, la diversidad de ministerios con un mismo fin. Caminar unidos como hermanos hacia el encuentro del Padre, con Cristo, por medio del Espíritu. Que nuestra oración suba a Dios y nuestros testimonios nos lleve a actuar en bien y por la paz en nuestra sociedad. Que así sea…
