Our Sewer System is in Need of MAJOR Repair
As you know, our sewer system is old and must now be replaced. The section on the corner of 13th and Lime Street has broken down. I was hoping to be able to get it fixed by running a sleeve through the pipe into the main pipes. Unfortunately that is not possible, due to the detection of the existing pipes.
So the road will have to be dug up at the intersection, new pipes put in, and then the whole section will be sleeved.
The cost of the project is about $80, 000. It is an expense that has to be done. We cannot keep the school or church open without the sewer system working. I feel that if we all work together, we can manage to raise the money for the project.
We collect for our maintenance fund on the first of the month. December 1st and 2nd is coming up. I would like to ask that each parishioner pray over what they can give, to sup-port the project. Please bring your donation to give to the Maintenance Fund (in the blue envelope). As always, your donation is tax deductible.
While we continue to give our usual donation for the church, it would help us greatly if your could give an increased amount for the Maintenance Fund, to help us with the urgent matter.
You have always been so generous in your support of the church. I thank you, and pray that together, we can raise the $80,000 for the sewer system project.

St Francis de Sales Christmas Food Drive and Giving Tree
“Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me.”
We need donations of non-perishable food items to help provide assistance to our less fortunate families in our parish this Christmas. Grocery bags will be avail-able this weekend for use in bringing your donations of non-perishable, non ex-pired food. Grocery bags can be drop off during the week at the parish office or in the green bins located in the front of the church. Please see page seven of the bulletin for a list of food items.
Our annual Christmas Giving Tree will be located in the main entrance of the Church. Gift Tags with the family number, along with the age and gender of each child, will be placed on the tree. You may take a gift tag and bring the WRAPPED GIFT WITH THE TAG ATTACHED to the Parish Office. Please mark your calendar (s), so you remember to bring your wrapped gift (s) on or before Sunday, December 9th. No gift will be accepted after this date. We need to distribute the toys before Christmas to the children, so plan on getting your
presents in early. Thank you!
It’s Here!
Today, Sunday, November 18th, the Women’s Ministry is hosting a Holiday Boutique and “Have- it -UR– Way” breakfast from 7:30am to 1:30pm in the parish hall. The breakfast will consist of bacon, eggs (your way), hash browns, biscuits, and coffee or juice, all for $7. We invite everyone to come and shop, eat, and enjoy the fellowship of St. Francis de Sales.
All proceeds will go toward the maintenance of our parish.
