Our traditional “Mañanitas” (serenading Our Lady of Guadalupe) is scheduled for Thursday, December 12. Star ting with the Mariachis at 5:00 am who will lead in singing until 6:00 am. Followed by a small reception with Mexican hot chocolate and sweetbread in the Family Life Cen-ter. Mass at 7:00 p.m. in the Church with a light dinner reception in the Beck Center after Mass.

HOMEBOUND MINISTRY / MINISTERIO DE LOS ENFERMOS
Fr. Joseph invites the community of St. Francis de Sales to join the Homebound Ministry (no experience required). We are all called to serve, let us share our time and talents with the sick and lonely. Please take a moment to read Matthew 26:34. Invitation to Prayer
The following “Holy Hours” are offered weekly in our Adoration Chapel and all are invited to par ticipate when able to:
Monday 3 pm - 4 pm: “Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus” (includes Rosary & Divine Mercy Chaplet)
Saturday 6 am - 7 am: For the sick of the Par ish (includes Rosary & Divine Mercy Chaplet)
Saturday 7 am - 8 am: For the par ish needs and all family intentions (includes Rosary & Divine Mercy Chaplet)
We are always in need of people to be “committed adorers” in our Adoration Chapel; and some of the weekly holy hours are in need of second Adorers. Our cur-rent “open” holy hours needing commitment are:
Tuesday, 8:00 am-9:00 am
Tuesday, 5:00 pm-6:00 pm
Wednesday, 3:00 pm-4:00 pm If you have questions or are able to commit to a weekly holy hour, please contact Diana at 832.641.2077. In case of emergency or disturbance, please contact Seals Security at 713-338-2266.

ALTAR SOCIETY
The Altar Society needs your help! We’re a small group of women who take turns dusting and doing very light cleaning in the church & chapel once a week on Fridays. It usually only takes each team 30-40 minutes once a month. We take care of the altar cloths, remove spent votive candles and wax from church & chapel, etc. It’s a special joy and blessing to take care of our sacred space. Project Rachel is the confidential and compassionate outreach to women who have had an abortion or been involved in an abortion. Its purpose is to foster reconciliation and healing between the parent and Christ, His Church, the child, and all other significant relationships. Questions, call 713-741-8728.
Responding to the Blessed Moth-er’s call to pray the rosary for conversions and peace, the holy rosary is prayed each morning in the Mary Chapel immediately fol-lowing the 8:15 am Mass along with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We urge anyone who is able to join us in the effort.

SFdS 2019 CHRISTMAS CAROLING
Let’s get together to spread some Christmas cheer.
Join us on December 17 for an evening of fun and frivolity as we go caroling through our parish community.
There will be an optional rehearsal on December 10 in the music room behind the Family Life Center (FLC) at 6:30 pm
On December 17 we will assemble in the FLC at 6 pm. There will be treats at the FLC following the event.
Please wear festive attire and bring flashlights. All are welcome to participate.
