PRAYER FOR MEMORIAL DAY
God of power and mercy, you destroy war and put down earthly
pride. Banish violence from our midst and wipe
away our tears, that we may all deserve to be called your
sons and daughters. Keep in your mercy those men and women
who have died in the cause of freedom and bring them safely
into your kingdom of justice and peace. We ask this though Jesus Christ our Lord.
R/. Amen
Join us in celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Fr. Jim Connor’s

May 27 The Most Holy Trinity
Today we celebrate the relationships at the heart of our faith. As God eternally participates in the relationship of Father, Son and Spirit, we too
participate in this sacred community and in the great historic sweep of God’s people past, present, future. Through baptism, we are called by God to become
part of this deeply connected family. Let us commit to loving and serving not only members of
this family, but all people.

A Letter of Thanks
Dear St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Community,
I have already spoken to your pastor thanking him for his leadership in this matter, but I want to per-sonally thank you for your incredible generosity
shown to our Blackfeet people here on the Blackfeet Reservation this winter. After we got buried in snow, your parish responded to help our people
with a donation of $6,162.00, a wonderful show of care and concern for our Blackfeet people at a time when we truly needed that help. The witness you have demonstrated on behalf of the Lord Jesus for
our sake truly blessed us at our time of need and for this we thank you.
I thank you also for all the help given over the years in terms of aid to the needy and the special dona-tions you have given to our Parish St. Vincent de
Paul store. It has been a constant out-reach to us in many splendid ways. You have been a very good
friend to our Blackfeet Catholics over the years and we value your friendship.
Each Sunday we do pray for our benefactors and you are one of them. May the Lord continue to
bless you as a parish family. He delights in you and your effort to serve Him. May you know His love
and His peace. Thank you again.
Sincerely in Christ, Fr. Ed Kohler, Pastor

(Wings of Desire), Pope Fran-
cis: A Man of His Word is
intended to be a personal journey with Pope Francis, rather than a biographical
documentary about him. The Pope’s ideas and his message are central to this documentary, which
sets out to present his work of reform and his answers to today’s global questions. From his deep concern for the poor and wealth inequality,
to his involvement in environmental issues and social justice, Pope Francis engages the audience face-to-face and calls for peace.

Why Control Your
High Blood Pres-
sure?
1 in 3 adults has high blood pressure.
1 in 2 adults who have high blood pressure doesn’t have it controlled. Are you one of them?
Every 39 seconds an adult dies of heart at-tack, stroke, or other cardiovascular disease.
Uncontrolled high blood pressure can injure or kill you. It's called "the silent killer" because
high blood pressure has no symptoms.
You may not be aware that it’s damaging your arteries, heart and other organs.
