The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph

“Wives, be subordinate to your husbands…Husbands, love your wives…Children, obey your parents in everything…Fathers, do not provoke your children…” (Colossians 3:18-21)

Pope Francis said that families, through their life of prayer

and love, become "schools of true human growth." Being

credible witnesses of Christian love, especially that of fami-

ly members, exerts the most positive influence on our chil-

dren. We are all children of God, let us pray and love each

other.

Prayer Box A prayer box is in the back of church. If you would like to have a prayer for a particular intention/need, write your intention on a slip of paper and place it in

the box. No names are revealed as the prayer box is sealed at all times, except when the papers are taken out and the Prayer Ministry prays for the intentions.

This Prayer Box is another way of praying for someone or some situation that you do not wish to share with anyone else.

Youth Sunday: The 4th Sunday of the Month has be desig-

nated as Youth & Young Adult Sunday at St. Gabriel

Church. The idea for Youth & Young Adult Sunday is man-

ifested in the hope that the next generation of Catholics de-

velop a strong relationship with our Lord. Any youth or

young adult interested in participating in the following min-

istries: Lectors, Ushers, Youth & Young Adult Choir, &

Eucharistic Ministers (Young Adults Only), please see Mrs.

Bernadette August-Woods. Please Note: All PSR Students

are required to attend Mass on the 4th Sunday whether class

is in session or not.
