PResiDenT’s MessAge
Dear Fellow Parishioners,
I would like to thank all of you who took time out of your
busy schedules to attend the second General Assembly for
2014. We have a lot of work to do to ensure the future suc-
cess of our parish and it is imperative that we work together.
Your willingness to engage in the important decisions facing
us is a testament to your faith in our community. A special
thank you to those who will be serving on the Election and
Audit Committees.
This is our first year using a Stewardship Program instead of
annual dues to make our annual monetary donation to our
church. Each of us must individually determine how much
time, which talents and what portion of our treasures we will
offer to help our community. If you have been waiting for the
end of the calendar year to pay your church obligations the
time is quickly approaching! I hope you will send in your
check or make your payment via credit card very soon.
As I write this the carefree days of summer have slipped
away and there is a definite feel of fall and impending winter
in the air. We are back to our “serious” schedules and soon
the holidays will be upon us. Sunday School, Greek Pre-
school, Greek School, GOYA, HOPE/JOY and our Scouting
Programs are already in full swing and basketball will begin
this month. These are wonderful programs that afford our
children the opportunity to learn and socialize together.
November will find our parish busy. The Sunday School will
be having a Pancake Breakfast on November 16. Come let
enjoy a delicious breakfast and allow our children to serve
you. On November 22, the Anagennesis Ladies’ Society will
be having their Craft Fair. Stop by and begin your holiday
shopping. The Sunday School children will be collecting new
and gently used hats, gloves and mittens for the Salvation
Army. Their Warm Hearts, Heads and Hands Philanthropy
Project is one we can all help make a success. Parish elec-
tions will be held on November 23 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
On behalf of the Board of Directors I wish you and your fam-
ilies a Happy Thanksgiving! May God continue to bless you
and your families with good health and happiness.
Sincerely,
Nikki MoutsioulisPresident, Board of Directors
AnAgennesis newssAVe THe DATe!!!!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!!!

sUnDAY sCHOOl
Dear St. George Community,With the exception of a few days, we have had a beautifulautumn so far. What I love most about this time of year isall the color we see outside. It makes me really appreciatethe fact we live in New England. By this point we have allsettled into a new routine. Personally I feel like I am in thecar all the time driving to two different schools, sports, ac-tivities, play dates and everything else. Even with all thatwe have going on, I hope you will consider setting asidesome time and joining us in Sunday School. Please includeSunday School and church in your routine. We need to seta good example for our children and come to church andSunday School as much as we can. The Sunday School willbe continuing their Warm Hearts, Heads & Hands philan-thropy project this year. Running through Christmas, theSunday School children will be collecting hats, gloves andmittens for the Salvation Army. Details for the Warm Hearts,Heads & Hands philanthropy project will be included in aseparate Sunday School mailing.
I have said it many times in the past and I must reiterate-Iam very thankful for the teachers and staff who volunteertheir time to prepare lessons and teach our children! I amthankful for all the families who participate in our program!I am especially thankful for my family! Any given Sunday,my husband is helping me in the office or sitting with ourkids in church so I can attend to Sunday School matters. Myparents will babysit at any given time so I can “run up to thechurch to take care of a few things.” I am very thankful fora strong support system at church and home! I want to wishyou and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
