ST. ISIDORE the FARMER CATHOLIC CHURCH Growing Faith, Family and Friendship since 1961
Mission
We, the parish of St. Isidore the Farmer, are dedicat-
ed to growing a life-long Catholic community. Be-
lieving in the Risen Christ, we are empowered by the
Holy Spirit to celebrate the Eucharist, to be nour-
ished by the Word of God, and to serve the needs of
the local and worldwide community.
July 4, 2020
14th Sunday of Ordinary Time
Reading I: Zechariah 9:9-10
Responsorial: Psalm 145: 1-2, 8-9, 10-11, 13-14(1)
Reading II: Romans 8:9, 11-13
Gospel: Matthew 11:25-30
Stewardship: “The harvest is rich,” Jesus tells seventy-two in today’s Gospel, “but the workers are few.” The situation is the same today. How can I help with God’s harvest? Am I called into the field? Am I one who could provide food or shelter or wages to those who toil in the fields of the Lord?
Vocation View: Come to me all you who are weary and find life burdensome and I will refresh you. Pray for priests, broth-ers, and sisters, for all who offer their lives to be a sign of Jesus’ refreshing love. Pray for those who are called to join them in that ministry. (Matthew 11:25-30)

Bulletin advertisers: We would like to thank all of
our bulletin advertisers for the continued support in this
difficult year. We extended the time to respond and ex-
pect to have everything wrapped up in time for next
week’s bulletin.
Please take a minute to thank these advertisers for the
support in past as well as the coming fiscal year. Their
support covers our cost for printing the bulletins as well
as the parish website cost.
We’ve had the same advertisers for many years, and in
appreciation have made the decision to keep the spaces
limited to fifteen to be able to provide a nice size ad.
Your support of these retailers is also key to their loyalty
–so thank you very much.

Did you know that there’s an APP for that? Pray: The Catholic Novena App is available for IOS or Android phones. https://catholicnovenaapp.com/ A novena is a traditional Catholic form of prayer where you ask our Lord to answer a specific need or prayer request over a period of nine days, typically through the intercession of a saint. So you are asking for the saint’s prayers each day for the specific intention. You can learn more on this link on the Archdiocesan website.
