4 Anyone interested in becoming Catholic or in learning more about their Catholic Faith should speak to me (Fr. Martin) as I hope to resume R.C.I.A. / Adult Catechesis in the near future. A couple of people have already shown an interest and I have also had two people enquiring via the parish website. Speak to me after Mass, give me a call, or send me an e-mail if this might interest you or someone you know. Next meeting Thursday 24th October at 7.30p.m. QUEEN OF THE HOLY ROSARY Queen of the Holy Rosary! QUEEN OF THE HOLY ROSARY

Queen of the Holy Rosary!

Oh, bless us as we pray,

And offer thee our roses

In garlands day by day;

While from our Father’s garden,

With loving hearts and bold,

We gather to thine honour

Buds white, and red, and gold

Queen of the Holy Rosary!

Each mystery blends with thine,

The sacred life of Jesus

In every step divine.

Thy soul was His fair garden,

Thy virgin breast His throne,

Thy thoughts His faithful mirror

Reflecting Him alone.

Sweet Lady of the Rosary!

White roses let us bring,

And lay them round thy footstool

Before our Infant King.

For nestling in thy bosom

God’s Son was fain to be

The Child of thy obedience,

And spotless purity.

Today the Holy Father will canonise John Henry Newman.

How about asking this new saint for some special grace on this the day of his elevation to the altars? Maybe some grace that we have been hoping and

praying for for a while. St. John Henry Newman, pray for us!
