PATRON SAINT OF CONTAGION, EPIDEMICS, ILLNESS

O great St. Rocco, deliver us, we beseech you from

contagious diseases, and the contagion of sin.

Obtain for us, a purity of heart which will bear

sufferings with patience. Teach us to follow your

example in the practice of penance and charity, so

that we may, one day enjoy the happiness of being

with Christ our Savior, in Heaven.

NOTES FROM OUR DEACON Dear St. Margaret Shrine Members, Reach out

to Our Lord to help you get through this fearful time. I know it is becoming increasingly more difficult to live through the isolation, the short-

ages and the limitations of our present lives. But hopefully, this will soon be a distant memory in our lives. Embrace the positives. You are probably closer to your loved ones in

terms of communications than ever before. People are reaching out to one another to discover their needs. Thank goodness for the technology we never really addressed be-

fore. I bet you have become much more technologically savvy in the last month than in the last year. The website that I had been desiring for over two years is now up and

running. It is an opportunity for all of our members to stay connected in daily prayer. Please join us every morning on facebook. Say hello when you sign on so we know you are

there. Let us all try to stay strong as a community while we

are trying to defeat this unseen enemy. Amen!

NOTES FROM OUR RECTOR

Dear Members of St. Margaret Shrine, First of all I would like to wish you Happy Easter. I

also would like to reach out to you in this difficult

time of the coronavirus pandemic. Our Lord Jesus

Christ is accompanying us giving us hope and the guidance that we

need to continue with our lives. I encourage you to follow on line

the masses that we are celebrating at the Shrine. We are live

streaming the weekday and Sunday Masses that are available on

the Website of the Shrine. If you don't have access to Internet, I

advise you to watch the masses on television. I also ask you,

please, to pray for each other, in particular for the members of the

Shrine who have passed away, for those who are sick and also for

the people who are in the front lines risking their lives to take care

of the people in need. May God protect us and keep us safe in

this difficult time and may He allow us to meet again at the

Shrine.

Heal us from our fear, which pre-
