Summer Seminarian
Justin Lapeyra will be with us this summer at St. Martin de Porres. Justin has just completed his first year in seminary and will be going into his third year of collegiate study at St. Joseph Seminary in Louisiana. He will be at St. Martin de Porres from June 10th through August 6th.
New Associate Pastor
Fr. Melesio Espinoza will be coming to St. Martin de Porres as an Associate Pastor in July. Fr. Melesio is from Nicaragua and will primarily be working with the Hispanic Community in Dripping Springs, Wimberley and Blanco. Fr. The Sacrament of Confirmation for Adults
The registration period for adults desiring to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation will be from Monday May 22nd through Monday, June 5th.
This course will run from June through mid-August on Sunday mornings from 11:00am - 1:00pm beginning on June 11th. Alternative dates / class times for this course may occur during this period.

Be Healed Book Study and Talks
Are you looking to experience God's healing more deeply for yourself or for a loved one? Fr. Charlie will be leading a ten week book study and giving talks on Be Healed by Dr. Bob Schuchts. You are welcome to attend as many times as you can and bring a friend. This book study will help prepare us for the talks Dr. Bob Schuchts will offer at St. Martin de Porres on October 16-19, 2017. The morning session will be offered on Wednesday’s from 10:00am -11:30am in the Great Room of the Education Center. An evening session will be offered on Wednesday’s from 7:00pm - 8:30pm in the Parish Hall (June 14th Session in Great Room). Both sessions start June 14th and no registration is required. If you did not receive a book after the masses, then you can purchase one at Credo Catholic or online.

Mission Appeal
The coming weekend of June 10th - 11th, there will be second collection, mission appeal for the Indian Missionary Society, Ranchi Region from North India. The missionaries work among the tribal people, who live in the rural areas, in forests and mountain, where the development work has not reached. The missionaries work for their integral development: running school, hostel, orphanages, old age homes, drug addict rehabilitation center, faith formation, healing center etc. Your generous contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Sacrament of Baptism Parents who wish to have their children baptized must attend a Baptism preparation class. Children of non-parishioners may be baptized here. Non-parishioners must bring a letter from their pastor, giving permission for the Priest or one of the Deacons to baptize their child. Parents must also show proof that they have attended baptismal classes either at their parish or at St. Martin’s. Only one Godparent is required but two are recommended. A Godparent must be a fully-initiated practicing Catholic.

Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick Those who are seriously ill; elderly individuals who are weakened; those facing or recovering from surgery; children who are sick; or pregnant women may participate in the Sacrament celebrated following any Mass. Please request an anointing by the Priest after Mass, or by making an appoint-ment.

Confirmación Para Adultos
El período de registro para adultos que desean recibir el Sacramento de Confirmación correrá en mayo empezando el lunes, 15 de mayo hasta el lunes, el 29 de mayo.
Este curso correrá durante los meses de junio y julio a partir de las 11:00am - 12:30pm comenzando el domingo, 11 de junio. Fechas alternativas para estas clases pueden ocurrir durante este período.
