PRAYER TO SAINT
MICHAEL
THE ARCHANGEL
St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle. Be
our defense against the
wickedness and snares of
the Devil. May God re-
buke him, we humbly
pray, and do thou, O
Prince of the heavenly
hosts, by the power of
God, thrust into hell Sa-
tan, and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the
world seeking the ruin of
souls. Amen.

News in the Faith
The Holy Father, Pope Francis, has invited all members of the Faithful and other Christians to participate in a special prayer on Friday, March 27, 12:00 noon, Central Time. This special prayer will take place in St. Peter’s Square. During this Statio orbis, the Holy Father will grant to all par-ticipants the Plenary Indulgence* before im-parting the Urbi et Orbi Blessing.
It will be streamed through the Vatican News website, www.vaticannews.va, which we hope to have linked to the Diocesan website, www.biloxidiocese.org.
I ask that you share this with all the faithful in your care.
*A Plenary Indulgence, simply put, is the remis-sion of entire temporal punishment for sin grant-ed by the Church, in this case the Holy Father, Pope Francis.

Fun Fact 4/4
Our Church Windows– Chapel Windows (Now cry room)- In a simple way these windows tell the story of the re-
demption beginning at the rear with the Nativity suggested by the Chi Rho (Christ) springing from the Lily
symbolizing Mary. The passion follows:- the cross and chalice with a stream of blood pouring from the center
of the cross into the chalice suggesting the relationship of Christ’s death on the cross to the unbloodied sacri-
fice of the Mass. The resurrection follows: - symbolized by the sun which rises each new day and brings new
life as Christ's resurrection has for the faithful. The sanctification window faces in the chapel. The flames re-
call the tongues of fire which rested above the heads of the Apostles on the first Pentecost day. The Alpha
and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphbet and represent Christ as the beginning and the
end of all things. (last in this series– Originally written by Francis Deck, Designer, Emil Frei Inc. 6/8/1964)
