St. Vincent’ DePaul The SVDP Conference hosted the District meeting of Ontonagon and Ironwood and Bessemer at St. Sebastian school May 5th. 19 Vincentians were present. Letter Carriers delivered 500 pounds food Saturday the 12th to the pantry and the store was open with heavy traffic on the 12th also during Bessemer's annual Garage Sale be-fore Mother's Day. To date for the quarter the Pantry served 301 persons. Effective May 21st Wal-Mart will be providing the pantry approximately 500 pounds food weekly we will be picking up. New SVDP Conference members are needed to do any of the following pray together, or to work at the store or pantry. Whatever their choosing may be. Call Al or Dave Marczak, Joan Steiger, Dee Dee Maki or Helen Kangas for details.

Prayer of Health & Healing This prayer can be used to pray for healing, by changing out to

when you are in need.
HEAVENLY FATHER, I call on you right now in a special way . It is through your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under your power. Father, I ask you now to touch those in need with that same power. For if you created them from nothing, you can certainly recreate them. Fill them with the healing power of your spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in them. Mend what is broken. Root out any unproduc-tive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection. Let the warmth of your healing love pass through their body to make new any unhealthy areas so that their body will function the way you created it to function. And Father, restore them to full health in mind and body so that they may serve you the rest of their life. I ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen
