PARENTS CORNER SVDP Spirit Wear Campaign IS Coming: uniforms delivered the first week of September
Our e-store will be OPEN from June 3rd to July 31st: https://varsitycanada.com/schools/svdp/
Knowing that parents often do uniform shopping over the summer to get ready for the start of school, the timing of this campaign
means that orders will be delivered the first week back to school in September.
Reasons to purchase Spirit Wear?
1. It’s all navy and white and so your children can wear it as their school uniform.
2. Why should our kids have all the fun and spirit – the whole family can get their own cool SVDP gear.
3. 10% of all money raised goes back to our children to be used for learning enrichment and experiential opportunities, technology,
and classroom and gym resources.
**NEW THIS CAMPAIGN**:
1. We heard from parents that they would like the option of purchasing items with “SVDP” as well as “WOLVES” and so this
campaign included both, in an effort to meet everyone’s wants. A big thank-you to Shane Madden, SVDP school parent, for his
great work on the SVDP logo.
2. We also have women’s fit tops this time round. No more boxy tops for mom!

How Can Parents Help? By donating to this clothing collection you have an opportunity to help raise funds for your school as well as helping the environment by diverting unwanted textiles away from land fill sites. In addition, it will help raise the students’ awareness of the benefits of the 3 “R’s”—Reuse, Recycle and Reduce. Please donate any unwanted clothing – men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, all outerwear and all footwear (tied in pairs please) hats, belts, purses, linens, towels and backpacks. You can use any type of bags. To help raise the maximum funds for your school, please ask your relatives, neighbors and friends to go through their closets too – a team effort makes all the difference! Bag2School will help you to raise funds by paying your school $200/ton. (The record last year was 5.75 tons! The average per school is 1 ton) Visit http://www.bag2schoolfundraising.com/ for more information When & Where: Please return your bags of used items to: the school Donations will be accepted between June 3rd – the morning of June 14th, 2019.
