Over 500 children enter the school each year, greeted by a rigorous academic program offered in a small, nurturing environment. While the heart of the school’s success is a deeply committed and accomplished group of faculty and staff, it has become clear over our 75-year history that support from our parish and local community is essential to advancing our mission and providing the best possible opportunities for our young learners. On February 23, 2019, the PTO will be celebrating 75 years of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School with its annual auction. Our school relies on the funds raised at this event to bolster programs for both students and faculty throughout the school year. This special evening, the premier social and fundraising event for our school each year, will include cocktails, dinner, dancing, a silent auction and more in a vibrant downtown setting at The Ballroom at Bayou Place. Event sponsors fund the PTO’s support of our school in meaningful ways that enrich the academic experience for our students. Projects are selected for PTO funding based on their ability to improve and enhance school life. Improvements have included upgrading the playground surface to turf, supporting teacher retention and Christmas bonuses, purchasing ActivBoards, and adding to our Adopt-A-Student program that provides funding for families in need of financial assistance. Enclosed you will find sponsorship opportunities and details about the significant recognition offered both preceding and during the event. Sponsors are listed in print and electronic communications shared with our school and parish families, comprising nearly 5,000 entities. To ensure proper recognition, please complete the enclosed Sponsor Information Form and return it to the school no later than November 15, 2018.
