GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

…………………………………………………………………. PRIEST RETIREMENT: The dedicated priests who served us in the past now deserve to life out their retirement years in dignity. IHM and St. William have been assessed. This amount is slightly less than two times the regular weekend offertory. Please be as generous as you can during this Dioce-san Campaign. …………………………………………………………………. IS THIS YOUR YEAR? Couples married 25 or 50 years this year will be honored at an Anniversary Mass held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Charlotte. Mass begins at 2:30PM and will be followed by a reception. Please contact the Business Office at 837-2000 if you are interested. ………………………………………………………………… YOU ARE A PART of the Church’s family. Have you made the Church a part of your family? You can do this by including our Parishes in your Will. …………………………………………………………………. SAVE THE DATE. The IHM Bereavement Support Group will begin its Fall session on October 9th. This Support Group is open to both parishes. More details will follow. …………………………………………………………………. LAUDATO SI. “St. Francis, faithful to Scripture, invites us to see nature as a magnificent book in which God speaks to use and grants us a glimpse of His infinite beauty and goodness.” Pg. 9 …………………………………………………………………. CAJUN FEST 2019 IS HERE! Join fellow parishioners and the community for authentic Cajun food on Friday, September 20th from 4PM to 9PM and Saturday, September 21st from 11AM to 8PM on the St. Wil-liam Campus. 50/50 tickets are still available on the table in the Commons and will also be available for purchase at the Cajun Fest. There will be entertainment on Friday and Saturday plus a great menu of jambalaya, gumbo, shrimp etc. etc. Don't miss out on all the fun. …………………………………………………………………. THERE ARE SEVERAL PARISHIONERS from both par-ishes who are in need of our prayers for healing. Many do not wish to be named; nonetheless, they should be included in our daily prayers for the sick. Our prayers are powerful so please keep them in mind as well.

STEWARDSHIP THOUGHT Christian stewardship takes a positive view on money.

It sees money not only as a medium of exchange, but as a symbol of the person who has it. The way we acquire it, use it, and share it, we are

revealed in those actions.
