Letters, numbers, blank spaces, symbols also known as alphanumeric e.g. AB41 3TG or Annabel Strachan.

NUMBER

This is a unique value generated by the software for each record.

OLE Object linking & embedding. To put in objects support by windows. Such as a picture

Lookup Wizard Allows you to create fields. The fields appear with a drop-down arrow on it in tables and forms. The Look up creates relationship between tables used.

Primary Key

The primary key identifies the field that will hold unique data. This is a way of preventing duplication of records

What does unique mean?Being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else

What could be a unique information?• Date of birth, • passport number,• membership or ID number, or a car index plate! • National Insurance number

Taking a screen print

Do the following to take a screen print (copy of the

screen):

1. Press the button on your key board top right that says Print Screen button

2. Open a word document (or any other software)

3. Use the CTR L and V keys to paste your screen

4. Annotate/Label your screen - using text box and arrows
