This is one of the most powerful scriptures that we can find in the bible. In this verse we come to the under-

standing that when God raised Jesus from the dead it gave him power to rule and rein as king of all creation. In

this he was given dominion and authority over all principalities and powers and rulers of dark forces. Then it

goes on to let us know that no name and no is power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but

forever.

It is very important that we understand the phrase, “Right Hand” . The term “Right hand” is not a position on

some kind of seat or thrown as some theologians would make us to believe, but refers to the “Position of

Christ Authority”.

What David is showing us here is, that by him abiding in the right hand, meaning under the authority of God

his defense! He had confidence that no matter what came his way God was his right hand, his defense and

defender!

For your encouragement, I need you to see that not only is Jesus the authority of God, when we make him

Lord of our life we, as David, can say the Lord is our Right Hand, the Lord is my defense. Many of the bat-

tles that we seemingly seemingly seemingly have to fight can simply be won by us STAYING SEATED! What do I mean by stay-

ing seated? That means that we don't have to try and stand in our own authority but we can stand in the au-

thority of God.
