Dr. Randy Asistido, Research Director, Dr. Teresa Asistido, External Affairs Director, Dr. May Bautista, Graduate School Faculty and Ms. Zherry Jacela, Asst. Principal of the Senior High along with 4 students from CEAS presented their papers in the 7th HuachiewChalermprakiet University International Conference in Bangkok, Thailand last July 2019.

Dr. Renith Guanzon of the College of Education, Arts and Sciences presented her study on “The Ethnomathematics of the Bukidnon Karulano Indigenous People Towards the Development of Instructional Materials” in the 11th Asian Conference on Education organized by International Academic Forum last October 31, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
On February 2020, EVP Mark Molina was invited as a Plenary Speaker during the Asian Universities Digital Resource Network International Research Conference on Local Knowledge 2020 held at Fr. Saturnino UriosUniversity in Butuan City.
Dr. Mima Villanueva, Vice President for Academics and Ms. Maricon Arca, Program Head of Business Management presented their study on “Sustainable Livelihood Development Program for Purok Arao, Brgy. Vista Alegre.”

STI WNU has partnered with GaluhUniversity of West Java, Indonesia. Their University Officers headed by their Rector Dr. Yat Rospia Brata visited the University on November 2019 to sign the Memorandum of Agreement.
The partnership aims to intensify researches, faculty and students training and cultural exchange program.

• Jose Jairus Mesticampo, BS Electrical Engineering, 3rd Place RoboRaceEvent and Consolation Award during the Robotics Skills Competition.
• Our STI West Negros University Team which won six (6) golds out of the nine (9) competitions in the 2020 Tagisan ng Talino Regional Finals. The events which we championed are Essay Does It, Mix and Flair, Travelogue, Worth the Whisk, Chef Express and Think Quest.
