M o r S tone Flakes are a flat, acrylic flake product that may be mixed with a variety of materials such as clear or pigmented gel coat, polyurethane, or epoxy and sprayed directly onto the desired surface. Depending on the application, Stone Flakes may be backed with fiberglass or cast polymers. The flat shape (5 mils thick) of the chip will cover a greater surface than conventional round chips and is often used in broadcast flooring applications where large surface areas need coverage. Since the build- up does not have to be as thick as round chips, Stone Flakes suspend well on vertical surfaces. In addition, Stone Flakes may be added to cast polymers in order to achieve a color highlight in granite-like mixes or to develop a unique granite effect. Looks great when combined with Poly Chips® or Poly Stone™.
