STOP! no more flights... 50% more Planes 50% more Noise 50% more Pollution SAY NO TO THE EXPANSION OF FLIGHTS FROM LONDON CITY AIRPORT London City Airport has applied to expand flights by 50%, from 76,000 up to 120,000 per year, with noisier, larger capacity jets. It plans to operate 176,000 flights each year. Stansted, Heathrow and Southend also want to expand and fill the skies above our communities with more noise and pollution. What happened to reducing emissions? Aviation is getting away with increasing emissions while we work hard to reduce ours! Many more planes will fly over areas of South and East London, Essex and Kent. Fight the Flights makes sure residents and their communities are aware and informed. We and others are calling for a Public Inquiry—it is the only way we will find out the real impact of expansion and how it will affect our communities without the spin. What you can do?
