Street Music

My quiet cozy street, How I love my lovely little street,

The spectacular sounds,The natural noises!

Happy chirps and tweets of the newborn fledglings,

The soothing sound of the wind whistling its happy little tunes,

The children,The bubbly voices of the children,

Their giggles fill my sweet little street with joy.

Then come the painful,Ear insulting,

Hard-core music of my little street,The grinding and the screaming of metal,

Escaping from the awful construction equipment,

Such a horrible noise, Tearing through the peacefulness of my once

quiet cozy street.

I try, I try so hard to block-out those terrible noises,To remember the stillness of my calm street,To listen for the chorus of buzzes and barks,

To avoid the harsh screams and shouts,And to always enjoy the beautiful sounds of

my lovely street.
