Building Bridges.…..new bonds with United Kingdom The school hosted 18 students from United Kingdom on 12 th September 2012 as a part of Study India programme in collaboration with UKIERI and King’s College London. The UK delegation visited the school to gain experience of the Indian Culture, way of life, people, arts, politics, economy and language which provided them an opportunity to explore the Indian Education system and the curriculum followed in Indian school. The delegation was given a warm welcome by the honourable Principal. The session began with the lighting of the lamp by the delegates. They were taken to classes in small groups to observe the teaching methods followed in India. An enriching interactive session was held between the UK delegation and the students of our school wherein they got an opportunity to know about each other’s culture and systems. The visit was a wonderful experience of learning and teaching that helped us to foster links with schools and universities in UK. It was indeed a step ahead towards globalization and strengthening the bonds between the two nations.
